I didn’t come to filmmaking through a shortcut, fully aware of what it would demand.

I studied industrial engineering, but chose to walk away from the life that was expected of me to pursue what I felt—light, image, story.

At 26, I left Iran for Uruguay, carrying years of experience behind the lens and a deep desire to make a new beginning. In a place where no one knew my past, I introduced myself as a photographer and rebuilt my identity through the images I made.

Later, I moved to Canada to deepen my craft. I studied filmmaking, worked every job I could—from PA to DP—and carved a path frame by frame. No shortcuts. Just obsession, sacrifice, and constant reinvention.

I’m a cinematographer, photographer, and visual artist. I’m drawn to quiet intensity: shards of light through blinds, the silence after a confession, the gravity of a still figure, the emotional residue left in an empty room.

I’ve shot narrative, branded, and documentary work across three continents. But the only thing that matters is the next frame—and I’m hungry to make it count.
